Universal Leave On-the-Spot Award Program
Hours are accrued each pay period for vacation, sick time or personal time away from work. Recognizes individual and team efforts in order to encourage and empower employees to use their talents to the fullest.  This award is not awarded indiscriminately; therefore, use will be restricted to no more than 25% of staff.   To learn more about this program, click here
Personal Leave Days Employee Referral Bonus
Additional leave days are provided at the beginning of each calendar year for personal time away from work. Applies to hard-to-fill positions as determined by Human Resources and the business center. Employees who refer external candidates for employment are eligible to receive up to $1,000.  To learn more about this program, click here
Holidays     Recruitment/Relocation Expenses
Eleven annual paid holidays encourage employees to spend time with their families and friends. Reimbursement of expenses to help defray the cost for a new employee to relocate to the Sarasota area.
Flex Time
An opportunity for employees to work varied hours (such as 4-day work weeks or 9-hour days), based on the business needs for the business unit/center or enterprise.
Telecommuting
An opportunity to work from home on a regular or as-needed basis, in keeping with the business needs of the business unit/center or enterprise.

Available at four county locations and offering the convenience of working out before work, at lunch or after work.
Wellness Incentive Program
Encourages employee health and wellness. Provides rewards for completion of the Health Risk Assessment and fitness testing, and participation in healthy living classes and on-site exercise classes.
Educational Opportunities
Educational sessions in-house or off-campus. Tuition reimbursement available for courses taken in pursuit of a degree and/or specific courses taken directly related to an employee's job.
