The program is designed to challenge and strengthen managers’ knowledge and skills, and thereby enhance the leadership capacity of the organization. The executive directors select the participants, based on the leadership skills they currently demonstrate and their future leadership potential. Each manager is required to complete a leadership competency assessment, which includes input from themselves, their supervisor, peers, customers and employees.

Key elements of the program include:
  • on-line multi-rater assessment of key leadership competencies (Heavily focuses on values)
  • blended learning opportunities linked to competency assessment results
  • core and customized learning experiences
  • nationally recognized learning experiences (Covey, Achieve Global, e-learning module access, etc.)
  • follow-up assessment
